There are many reasons for us to respect the elderly.Let's exemplify as follow.Above all,It's our Chinese tradition to respect the elderly and take good care of the Young.For another,they have devoted themselves to the prosperity of our society,and what we have enjoyed today ----the stability and peace,are of their contribution,so when they are getting old,they need someone to rely on,and we are duty-bound to respect them.Last but not least,the elderly have rich experience,just like a working machine,they can provide us with words of wisdom.
