Hi everyone I am so happy to be back on the blog this week as I want to talk to you about something important-the importance of time.
大家好我很高兴回到博客上同大家交流.本周我想谈谈时间的重要性.
Yes as I am getting older I have come to feel that time is the most important thing in our lives.It’s the 4th of August 2009 today I am fully aware that once it passes this day will never return.时间一去不复返啊.
A friend of mine said to me that he noticed that high achievers tend to be good time managers.‘They are just super efficient!’办事效率特高!
But how can we be more efficient?We all need time to work,to eat,to sleep,and to accomplish all the daily chores of living.完成所有的日常事物.
We also need time to socialize and to understand our mates,our friends and our loved ones.
Most of our relationships,in fact,require more time than we have,and it is difficult to avoid the feeling that we could never have enough.我们的所有感情沟通和人际关系都需要时间,因此总感觉时间不够用.
So are there ways in which we could save our time a bit more?Do you have any tips?我们如何节省时间呢?你有何高见?
In English there is a saying ‘less is more’.This is often used to refer to space.For example when you have less furniture your room looks bigger.So people would say less is more.英语里有个短语叫,以少见多,常常用来形容房子的空间,如果家具少,房间看上去就显得大,这就是所谓的一少见多.
But I think it can also apply to time management.If I write less (one page instead of two) I guess you are more likely to remember more.Do you agree?不过我倒觉得这个原则也适用于时间管理,比如我写博客时,简明扼要,只写一页而不是两页,也许你会记住更多,不是吗?
Finally I would love to hear from you what good tips you have in getting things done more efficiently.最后我希望听到大家都能和我一起分享一下自己的经验,介绍一下你如何提高效率.
